A major milestone has been achieved in advancing smart airport connectivity across Saudi Arabia. ACES NH, in collaboration with Jeddah Airports Company (JEDCO), has successfully deployed an integrated multi-operator 5G in-building solutions (IBS) network at all terminals of King Abdulaziz International Airport - the Kingdom’s largest aviation hub.
This service has been launched at King Abdulaziz International Airport as part of Jeddah Airports Company’s efforts to provide a seamless and comfortable travel experience, offering passengers a range of connectivity options through the mobile network operators available at the airport.
Leveraging a neutral host model, the system enables multiple mobile network operators to share a unified, high-performance infrastructure throughout all terminal facilities. This ensures seamless and consistent 5G coverage for all travelers, enhancing the overall passenger experience.
This initiative exemplifies infrastructure aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 - scalable, collaborative, and future-ready - setting a new benchmark for digital transformation in the region’s aviation sector.
