ACES as an Innovator in Next-
Generation Connectivity Solutions
ACES Shareable 5G Small Cell Radio
ACES R&D was established in 2022 as a dedicated innovation arm to advance next-generation telecommunications technologies and support Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation objectives. Since its inception, the department has secured strategic funding from national programs such as the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, enabling the acceleration of cutting-edge research and product development. ACES R&D has fostered strong collaborations with leading local and international partners across academia and industry, creating a dynamic ecosystem for innovation. Under the umbrella of NTDP Bridge and Next Era programs, the team successfully developed a shareable 5G Small Cell solution aligned with O-RAN principles, enabling efficient multi-operator and neutral host deployments tailored to the Saudi market. Through sustained R&D efforts, ACES has delivered impactful solutions in O-RAN compliant 5G small cell systems, advanced antenna design, RF front-end development, and intelligent KPI dashboard platforms, reinforcing its role as a key contributor to a robust and future-ready communications infrastructure in the Kingdom.
