As part of its strategic development and localization initiatives, ACES is proud to announce its achievements in advancing in-house 5G shareable small cell subsystems. These innovations will enable neutral use cases with multi-carrier and multi-operator capabilities, driving localization, cost efficiency, and talent development. This milestone reinforces ACES’ commitment to innovation and its position as a champion of Saudi technological advancement.

Notably, ACES has successfully enabled the first voice over new radio on an O-RAN compliant private 5G Small Cell, developed in-house. This groundbreaking achievement has been tested successfully, marking a historic first for Saudi Arabia in developing all testbed subsystems locally. ACES achieved this milestone under the umbrella of MCIT through their funding support of NTDP.
